Most homes have several recalled products that can cause injury or fire
Safety recalls are issued very frequently. They inform consumers about products that are unsafe, cause injuries, or cause fires. But most recalls go un-noticed by the public. That is because the companies that made the products don’t know who bought their products. Unless you have filled out a product registration card, they won’t know how to get a hold of you. This is particularly problematic when you buy a house.
CHECKING FOR RECALLED ITEMS IS NOT INCLUDED WITH A HOME INSPECTION
As a valuable added service, The San Diego Real Estate Inspection Company have the mechanical products in your house checked for recalls. Our inspectors will collect the manufacturer’s information required to search for recalls. We do the research so that you don’t have to. You will be provided with a detailed report which will be seperate from the home inspection.
Keep your family safe
When you sign up for a recall check with a home inspection, the fee is only $35. Almost all of the recalls provide a way for you to receive a free repair, replacement part, or refund for defective products. Just be sure to add this service when you set up an inspection appointment, either through this site or on the phone.
