iPhone App Help Page
It has never been easier to book inspections, read inspections, or contact us. Our new iPhone App speeds up the 
process of scheduling inspections, reading reports, or just contacting us about inspections. This page should answer all of your questions about the App’s capabilities and how to set it up. As always, feel free to call us or contact us via the link below if you have any questions or comments, or just to give us feedback. We love to hear from you as we take feedback very seriously – good or bad! It helps us provide you with a better experience.
Main Screen
This is the first screen you will see when you start the App. From here, you can:
Schedule an inspection
Request that we book the inspection (least amount of work for you)
Easily view uploaded inspection reports
Contact us (one touch calling, email, website, etc)

Schedule Inspection Screen
When you click on the Schedule Inspection button on the Main Screen, you will get to this Select Request Type screen. 
You have two options for scheduling inspections. You can go through our calendar to pick an exact date, time and inspector, and enter all the details required to set up and confirm an inspection. This is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
If you are a little more flexible, or just don’t want to enter everything through the App, you can choose the second (yellow) option. With this option, you enter the very basic information (pictured at right) we need to set up an appointment. It is basically a request for an inspection where we book the appointment for you. All you have to do is enter the buyer’s name, email and phone number, and the address of the house. You can tell us if this inspection is required ASAP or within a week.
With this option, someone from our office will contact you as soon as possible during business hours to set your appointment. This is a great option when you are on the road and just want to get something booked quickly and easily. Your information is automatically entered from the “Settings” in the App. You will love the simplicity and ease of use. Requesting an inspection has never been easier!
Contact Us
From the Contact screen, you place a call to our office with one touch! Click the “Call Now” button and your phone will be connected immediately to our main office. If you need to speak to one of our inspectors, your call can be quickly transferred. This is great when you are on the road.
The “Email Now” button quickly creates an email addressed to our office for your. Use this to ask questions, send feedback or request a quotation.
The “On The Web” button takes you to our full website where there is a ton of content for home buyers and real estate agents.
If you like what we do, the “Refer A Friend” button generates an email with all of our contact information. All you have to do is enter their email address.
To add us to your iPhone contact list, simply click the box at the bottom. And finally, be sure to visit us on Facebook, Twitter and Yep to see our review and keep up with the latest inspection news.
Entering your Settings
The “Settings” screen is where you enter your contact information. This will save you a lot of time when we send you inspections, or if you need to schedule inspections in the future. Agents who already have a username and password simply enter it here. If you forgot your username and password, just click the “Forgot Password” link. Your user name and password will be emailed to you.
Fill out all the info on this page so that any emails you send from the App will already have your contact entered. Note: In some cases you should re-boot your phone after entering this info if you have trouble seeing uploaded reports.
Entering your HomeGauge username and password will allow you to quickly view any home inspection reports we have done for you. This is particularly useful for Real Estate Agents as they can review all home inspection reports without ever entering your username and password again!

View Inspection Reports
Now you can quickly view reports on the go! Once you have entered your username and password in the Settings, any and all home inspections we have performed for you. Just open the app, click on the “View Reports” button, and you will have your list of reports which can be read right on your iPhone!
